I love lables - these are botanical images done for a project last year - would like to take them a stage further into textiles and made in jute since it's a Dundee thing.

The jute barons in the early to mid 19th century had a great influence on the arts and architecture - which brings me to the McManus Art Galleries and Museum which now houses artwork by scottish colourist Francis Cadell. The gallery is named after the lord provost who lived acress the road from me lovely man

Whats next in the city of discovery - my fave place -  vintage specs by Spex pistols and  the quirkyest shop with a gem of an owner who is passionate about his Dundee and the likes of  the Law hill, Baxter park, The Ferry etc.

time to try out something new - inspired by the shorelines where I live - these pieces of sari silks with vibrant colour are embellished onto silk to make a wallhanging. Actually photoshoped this ar colours weren't showing up so well ! I'm sure its not cheating it's just using and other medium
